November 8 — Victory Day
- Our people are witnessing victorious historic days! From September 27, 2020, by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and under his direct leadership, the Azerbaijani army conducted counteroffensive operations in territories occupied by Armenian invaders. As a result of successful combat operations, the enemy’s fortified line was destroyed, a large number of Armenian personnel and military equipment were eliminated, and the historic Azerbaijani lands that had been under occupation were liberated.
- Our lands were freed at the cost of the blood and lives of heroic soldiers and officers, as well as our martyrs and veterans. We congratulate our people on Victory Day, recorded in history on November 8. Today, the souls of our martyrs rejoice!
