What Are the Symptoms of Endometriosis?
- Endometriosis is the growth of the inner lining of the uterus (endometrium) outside the uterus. It can develop in the ovaries, fallopian tubes, pelvis, intestines, and other organs. The main symptoms include:
- • Severe pain during menstruation
- • Pain during sexual intercourse
- • Persistent pelvic pain, among others
- One of the most common complaints associated with endometriosis is infertility.
